Spots and Zits

I think that almost everybody in their lives suffers from spots on their face and backs. If it becomes quite bad it's known as acne.

This most commonly occurs during our adolescent years, but can happen when very young (baby acne) or even as you grow older, probably caused by hormones, especially in women.

Spots, commonly called zits, are a nuisance to many people as they usually last just a few days. But when those whose spots develop into something more permanent people, particularly women, can feel isolated, ugly and even permanantly emotionally scarred.

Many of the spots, which initially become apparent as blackheads or white heads may become inflamed and develop into boils which, particularly if picked, can leave unsightly scars. To resist sqeezing or scratching them is extremely difficult.

BUT YOU MUST - Even if there are lots of them and they are driving you mad. It requires a great deal of self control and concentration to leave them alone.

There are  treatments out there and they're  getting better every day. Hang on in there. Don't let acne make your life a misery. Just remember most people go through it. If they are lucky enough to have a clear complexion then quite possibly they will have some other physical problem else to worry about.
